It’s mostly not about the big gestures, the new cars,the perfect movie,  the iPhone 16 the tall buildings, I mean it’s part of it but it’s not what it meansss…. Love is the uncertainty, Love is the unsure state of mind as to if you really wanna be with this person or if you don’t. Love is not being with someone when it’s all you’ve wanted but you don’t wanna ruin it with your mental instability.

    Love lies in the imperfect nature of men… No one is perfect and trusting their actions  and trusting what they feel about you is love . Love is really patient, kind, beautiful, but it’s not the perfect picture they portray it to be on the media…to me , I’d leave perfection and face reality, I’d settle for someone who is real pretty faster than settling for one who seems to be perfect . Love is the arguments, the fights and every other little thing that comes up in life. Love is correction, it’s sacrifice and it’s also a good feeling.

  Love is a multifaceted and profound emotion that has held human hearts in bondage for centuries. It is a universal language that goes from  cultures, ages, and backgrounds, yet its meaning and expression can vary greatly from person to person. Love can be a source of immense joy, comfort, and strength, but it can also be a catalyst for pain, heartache, and vulnerability. And this vulnerability is the reason most people scare away from Love , especially the male gender. Vulnerability in love is  the willingness to open oneself up to the possibility of emotional hurt, rejection, or pain in the pursuit of deepening connections and intimacy with others and this is all love is..

I hate to write about love because I’m used to saying , I don’t know what love is.

    Love to me is a very complex and complicated thing. I mean how would you love someone and they someone else tells you, if you love someone you should let them go… why do I have to let go?… I understand the whole concept but I mean??? Why do we have to let go?… Love is really not a thing one can comprehend or know all about it because it’ is vast and it’s definitions varies wildly in different parts of the world.

      Love is risks and so many sacrifices. because why do I want to be in lagos but because my partner wants to be in Abuja we’d have to move.. and this is where consideration comes in. When we love someone, we're often willing to make sacrifices for their benefit. This can involve putting their needs before our own, compromising on our desires, or letting go of our expectations sometimes career and goals . Sacrifices in love can be small, like giving up a hobby or choice of school, or business, like relocating for a partner. By making sacrifices, we demonstrate our commitment and love for the other person which I think doesn’t make sense but the world makes it make sense.

       Is sex love? Must we have sex to prove our love for something or someone? If it is really love why don’t we sex our pet cats, dogs, our favorite chairs since we see it as a major show  of love?this is something I’ve been trying to declutter for years and it’s been hard , definitely so hard to do so… cause I mean I want to ask really big questions and at the same time don’t wanna sound naive . Love can exist without sex and sex can also exist without love , so I don’t see it as a major reason to love. Don’t get it wrong, it’s my own ideology, yours may differ too.

      Love has had a lot of interpretations from years back but I think and solidly believe in trusting what your mind tells you is love. I mean they say your instincts never lies right? Why don’t we just live in the moment and enjoy every bit of it while it lasts?…love is me not knowing why I like you, but really caring about the littlest things that matter to you. Love is understanding that I do not like the way onions taste,  and you not using onions to make dishes for me. Love is in the simplest things of life , it’s in the everyday thing we do. Love is understanding I can’t do things when I’m having my cramps and offering a helping hand to me. Love is knowing that I’d be too busy to make dinner cause I’d be coming home late snd I would have had a tight schedule as a man in operational department and you making dinner for me with a little post it on it saying “I see your efforts and it’d yield rewards in little to no time”. Love is beautiful and rocky maybe edgy sometimes but love is the ultimate .

  But you cannot love properly if you don’t love yourself. Self love is the best thing that can happen to someone because you cannot even give what you don’t have. Self love is taking risky decisions especially to better yourselves and making big sacrifices to make yourself a better you. You should accept your flaws first, see yourself in the best version , Appreciate how you really look and do everything possible to be the best at what you do. That way you become a cup full of love to also pour into someone else’s cup.

I’d summarize by giving this acronym L. O. V. E a good meaning .

L- loyalty

O- optimism

V- vulnerability

E- empathy.

Think about it anytime you think about love 💕❤️

And I’m sorry I’ve been out of here, it’s been really crazy but I’m recovering and I’m here for the best .
